It's no secret that I love both birds and star-filled skies. The way starlings look and sound during their evening murmuration makes me think that they could be bringing in the night. The constellations that you see in the painting are real. They are Andromeda, Aquarius, Cygnus, Perseus, and Ursa Major.
This is a Giclée print made from my original art. Over 400 layers of artwork are combined in this print to give this Murmuration of starlings sumptuous detail.
