I really wanted to paint a picture of the local woodpeckers that I see here in Idaho. Of course, you can find most of these birds in other states, but these are the ones I'm most familiar with. This is a very large piece, clocking in at 4 feet wide and 32 inches tall. The reason it's so large is that every woodpecker is life sized with detailed line work. I've included some closer pictures of the individual birds for reference, but they are not included in this listing.

This is a Giclée print made from my original art. Over 300 layers of artwork are combined in this print to give this lovely group of knotty peckers gorgeous detail.
